Stamps Ahead

Here is a card I made today to send to my cousins daughter who now lives in England.  She recently purchased her own 'end of terrace' home. Butterflies hold a significant importance in her life, so I just had to incorporate one on the card. A card like this is a great way to use up scraps of paper, instead of the chipboard a simple greeting could be added. Another of my layouts has been accepted by Kaszazz for publication on their website. It is my fun interactive layout.  I have previously posted about this layout, some 4 months ago.  I needed to make a few changes as some of the embellishments are no longer available and I added photos of flowers from my garden over the past year. You lift the front flap and there is room to add more photos and journaling.  As I mentioned in my previous post that I was inspired by a card I created that - here is that card I was inspired by a card that I saw on U-Tube created by Lisas Stamp Studio - I have left a thank you on her post. Once again I have used paper and stamps from Kaszazz Home Sweet Home collection. The stamps I used are Watering Can and Word Montage - Card Quotes (7 stamps).  I have coloured the image with salcohol markers. This is one of the cards that the ladies in the card class that I lead at a local community group will make tomorrow. I was inspired by this card to create the interactive layout (see link above) - using the card as I guide I got out my papers and rulers to make the layout.  Thank you for looking, Margaret

For sometime I have been wanting to design an interactive layout.  I recently made a card (that I will share later) that provided the inspiration for this layout. This looks like a single page layout, with a tag for journalling....but open the flap under the triangle top right and you have space for more photos. I have used all products, available from Kaszazz.  I have used papers and embellishments from Home Sweet Home collection, Butterflies embellishments and twine. Thank you for looking, Margaret 

This week the card class I lead at a local community group return, after the Easter School Holidays break.  Here are the cards for this week. This fun fold card showcases the beautiful papers from Home Sweet Home collection and Cute Panda stamps available from Kaszazz.  My thanks to Lucy Jones for her initial inspiration for this card. Interested in purchasing these products head to my website  www.kaszazz.com/cart?consid=110787 Inspiration for card designs come from many places, in this case an early 1990's papercraft magazine and I was taken by the corrugated cardstock embellishment.  I have used an old paper corrugator that I have had to make the panel on this card.  The card is 5.9" square. The Franceville paper I found at Spotlight.  The gum flower/bud stamp is available from Kaszazz - Flowering Gum Un-cut Set (3 stamps) and it complemented the paper beautifully. Tomorrow, is the last Friday of term for the class I lead at a local community group.  These are the two cards the participants will be making. This card, designed by me, uses a new stamp from Kaszazz called Gum Books from the recently released Home Sweet Home collection.  The ladies (sorry, no men are in the class) will colour in using their preferred method - I have used since retired Alcohol Ink Markers.   The east coast of New South Wales, where I live on the lower edge, had constant rain over the past weekend and week, so it seemed appropriate that I feature the gum boots on this card.   This card, again created by me, uses a paper napkin/serviette applied with craft glue.  It is not a new technique.  I loved the design on the napkin immediately and I thought 'card'.   The paper napkin, that has a repeated design in each corner, has 3 plies and 2 of the plies are removed leaving the top layer for placing on the card.    Th...
