Good times are around every corner - so true.

Here are 2 layouts I created this weekend, slowing getting my holiday photos down on papers. This layout of me in Mall of America, Minneapolis playing hide and seek with Crayola crayons! I do not usually work in primary colours and I was inspired by a layout I saw in a Canadian magazine Scrapbook and Cards Fall 2017.  Thank you for the inspiration. This photo of a friend Kathy and I when we visited Scrapbook Mega Meet in Novi, Michigan was inspired by a layout also found in the above magazine.  I used papers and embellishments that I purchased whilst there.  What may not be quickly obvious is that I machine sewed down all the squares or part there of. Thank you for looking and keep on creating. Margaret :)

Disneyland layout

Today, I am completing a Double Delight Sketch Challenge over at Soul Scrappers and here is my layout:  And a close up of both pages: Here is the Double Delight Sketch from Soul Scrappers: I have left space for photos I will be taking when I visit Disneyland later this year.   The papers are from Simple Stories Say Cheese 111. Thank you for looking.   Margaret :)

Paper Issues Spring On-Line crop

Image
This weekend I am participating in an on-line spring crop run by Paper Issues.  Check them out on facebook. Here is my first layout: In this crop we were to be inspired by the work of Cassie Box and I selected her layout posted on 18th April, 2018 as inspiration. I am preparing for a visit to Disneyland later in the year so there is no photo on my layout as yet.  I used patterned papers and stickers from Simple Stories Say Cheese 111. Sequins and cardstock from my stash. Thank you for looking, off to do more layouts this weekend, as it seems Autumn has finally arrived in my neighbourhood here in Australia, good to stay indoors away from the cold and rain - not complaining we really need it here, even in the more populated areas. Margaret :)

Travel Layout (gift)

Image
This is one of the last layouts I made at the scrapbook retreat weekend just passed. My sister will be travelling later in the year and I have made this layout as a gift for her.  She can add photographs, title and journaling on her return. It features her favourite colour - blue. I have used a sketch from a publication by Scrapbook Generation's called Sketch Fusion with Simple Stories. It is a good go-to resource when inspiration is needed.  Thank you for looking, and happy travelling to all - whether to work each day or to wherever you are headed.   Margaret :)
