Here is a non-Christmas card I made this morning: Thank you for looking, Margaret

A card to make you smile and a grungy type card.

This morning, I lead a class at a local community group.   Here are the cards that I designed for them: Isn't this card too cute and doesn't it make you smile?   Made with Stampin'Up! set Hey, Chick.   The ladies used coloured pencils to colour their images today.  Suitable also for markers, crayons, watercolour techniques. This card uses 2 Kaszazz stamps - Contraption and Scrabble Background stamps.  Just right for the men in your life (this one is for my brother) and some of the ladies made for their female grandchildren and they turned out great as well.   Inspired by a card by Lucy Jones from Kaszazz. The inside of the card.  The ladies could personalise the greeting to suit and put in a greeting of choice.   So much fun with both cards. Thank you for looking, Margaret :)

Cards for fun.

Here are two cards I have made recently.                                        This first card uses product from many different sources and I like how they have all come together to a fun masculine card. The greeting from Abraham Lincoln in the middle of the card.   This card uses watercolour paints applied to the background.  Clean and simple.  The top and bottom were masked off.  After drying a stamp was applied and the flowers coloured with markers. Thank you for looking,  Margaret :)

60th Birthday card

Another birthday card made for my brothers 60th birthday.  Inside is a gift card for a movie and meal for 2. This card used some patterned paper that I have had in my stash for years.

My brothers birthday card

It is my brothers birthday today, and I made this card for him.  I love many of the Tim Holtz products and this card uses two - texture embossing folder and Ideaology Numerals.  I have used a core cardstock that I have sanded back to reveal the Kraft core.  This is technique that I love to use and it is good for male cards. A clean and simple card full of heartfelt wishes for his birthday.
