Stamps Ahead

Here is a layout I created for Soul Scrappers Challenges .  It was a mystery bag challenge and to be inspired by anything Christmas.  Christmas was rather quiet in the lead up to Christmas Day.  My sister had tested Covid positive a week beforehand - and we were not sure if we could celebrate together.  Our brother and sister-in-law were travelling down to Sydney to spend time with her family, so we initially decided we would get together on 23rd for dinner at my home. Oh, well that did not eventuate.   The good bit - my sister tested negative on Christmas Eve, and therefore,on Christmas Day, our brother and sister-in-law came for morning tea (seeing as negative result) then returned to their home to await their visitors. I hastily put together a cold salad with ham and other bits and pieces and my sister and I enjoyed lunch together and exchange of presents. She then went home to rest. Here are 2 layouts I created this weekend, slowing getting my holiday photos down on papers. This layout of me in Mall of America, Minneapolis playing hide and seek with Crayola crayons! I do not usually work in primary colours and I was inspired by a layout I saw in a Canadian magazine Scrapbook and Cards Fall 2017.  Thank you for the inspiration. This photo of a friend Kathy and I when we visited Scrapbook Mega Meet in Novi, Michigan was inspired by a layout also found in the above magazine.  I used papers and embellishments that I purchased whilst there.  What may not be quickly obvious is that I machine sewed down all the squares or part there of. This is going to be a long post. I have been competing in a challenge over at Soul Scrappers where we were sent a bundle of goodies with which to create a layout.   Here is my layout: This is what I received in the post from the challenge organiser from the USA. And this letter.
