Stamps Ahead

I was asked, by a friend, to make a wedding card for her neighbours who are getting married at the end of month.  The request was silver embossing. For this card I used Kaszazz stamps 6712K Happy Birthday Sunflowers and hearts are from 6377Q Collage Stamp - Cupid (you get 6 stamps in this set).  The greeting and surrounding dots are from stamps  in my stash.   After stamping with Versamark embossing ink and then embossed with silver embossing ink. I made a quick dash to Spotlight to get the silver glitter paper and silver rhinestones. Thank you for looking, Margaret  

I am pleased to announce that a set of 3 cards I designed, using Kaszazz collections Game On and Always and Forever have been just been accepted for publication on the Kaszazz website.  Here are my cards: To say that I am "chuffed" would be an understatement.  I had fun designing and making these cards. The Cheesecloth has been coloured by spraying Ranger Distress Oxide Faded Jeans Spray  onto the cheesecloth and allowed to dry before applying to the card.  Sticky bling rhinestones complete the look and provide a bit of sparkle. By now you may be wondering why I used a tyre track stamp - well, I thought that using the stamp would represent the ballerina dancing in the upward movement that they do so well. I will confess that I have never been a ballet dancer - I did do ballroom and latin/modern dancing a long time ago, even at competition level, so I recognize the skill that dancers of any age, gender and experience take to achieve.  Thank you for looking, Marga...

What do you do? There are many ways to use up left over scraps of paper and embellishments. This notebook (and 5 others) I made for myself and to give away. These were made using products available from Kaszazz and use scraps I had left over from some recent projects. Firstly, used my gel plate and Ranger Distress paints to colour white cardstock.  I loved the way they spread on the gel plate as I applied the paint prior to using brayer.  Another piece of brayered cardstock. Next, after paints were dry I cut to size and I applied texture paste.  Then once the paste was dry I used scraps of paper, stamps and ribbon to finish off the notebooks. More recent notebooks I made are below. I made these notebooks (actually about 20)  for charity fundraising. They are made with Kaisercraft papers and embellishments from my stash. People often say to me "Where do you get your inspiration?".   Here is a card I created today And here is my inspiration - yes a mug I fell in love with sometime ago.  I immediately thought of the new Kaszazz range Always and Forever.   I have also used stamps from Kaszazz Nostalgic collection that had the Paris theme. Roses have been coloured with Alcohol Ink Markers again from Kaszazz. The Eiffel Tower stamp is from Crafters Companion called Le Francais. I have been to Paris 3 times over the years and it is my sister's favourite city.   I had fun creating this card.  Hope you can see my inspiration on my card.  Thank you for looking. Margaret.
