On a roll!

January is proving a very productive time for me - in terms of my crafting not so much in terms of cleaning, tidying, dusting etc.   Here is a card I made yesterday, it would be suitable for weddings, engagements, St Valentine's Day (14 February is not that far away), birthdays or just to say 'I love you' : The card has a very vintage feel to it.  Stamp an inside greeting to match the occasion. Thank you for looking, Margaret

Nostalgic cards (3)

Here is a set of 3 cards I recently made for a team training day (TDD) with our team of Kaszazz Demonstrators.  We were set a challenge to use any of our current chipboard and current product to design our entry. I have double embossed the chipboard.  So what is this?  After first embossing with our gold embossing powder and then embossed again with same powders.  This gives a depth to the chipboard. A great alternative to using foils. The papers our from our Nostalgic collection of papers and stamps. I won a voucher for taking out first prize in our group - as voted on by my fellow team members. Thank you for looking, Margaret

Playing with inks

Here are two cards that I have made recently for classes I lead at local community centre: The inspiration for this card came from a card in love Cardmaking magazine Issue 20, made by Sarah Anderson.  The card uses Distress Oxide inks and stamped images - A Little Kindness Un-Cut set and Nostalgic Textures Un-Cut set both from Kaszazz. Thank you for your inspiration, Sarah and I have sent you an email thanking you.  Inside of card. This card was heat embossed with white embossing powder onto Kraft cardstock and then coloured with Distress Oxide Inks applied with a waterbrush.  Flower stamp from Altenew. I love how they both turned out. Do you? Thank you for looking, Margaret
