Stamps Ahead

In my last post I wrote about my prize winning photograph taken on Christmas Market Magic tour with Trafalgar in December, 2015.   Here is a double page layout I have done that incorporates that photo and more of the demonstration and morning tea that we had - Apple Strudel of course! The left hand page shows our demonstrator pulling the strudel pastry and finishing off the strudel. My sister got to fill and roll and the strudel.  Also we had morning tea with you guessed it - apple strudel.  I have popped the recipe behind you can just see the tab above my head.  The right hand layout tells the story of my prize winning photograph.  I have used papers from Basic Grey that I picked up from a local scrapbook store to complete the layout.  Thank you for looking, Margaret :)  

I have been busy over the past few days - I did attend a crop day at a local store yesterday that spurred me on to get more layouts completed.  This layout uses all Stampin'Up! product including On Film Framelit dies. The quote is "Celebrate Life - each day is a gift waiting to be unwrapped" and it comes on Philsophy brand soaps etc. A bright and colourful page to be put in my USA 2014 album. This double page layout is a complete kit from Basic Grey - Lucille Collection.  I amended it slightly to enable photographs taken on my sister's birthday to be included.  Morning tea - tick; Dinner - tick; River Cruise to come. I completed the background to this layout back in October  when I used many layers to create it.  It has been on my desk since then just waiting for the right photograph.  The circle of flowers and ribbon was inspired by a layout by Cat Burchmore in Scrap 365 magazine of June/July 2014. It is a wet and miserable day today in Sydney - can't complain as it is the first rain for a long time.  I can feel my garden soaking it up. So today I did some scrapbooking.  Here is a layout from our holiday in Hawaii, last December. Unfortunately, due to the overcast weather the photos are not very clear.
