Stamps Ahead

Welcome to 2022. Here is a fun card I created today - choose happy - a good reminder for the year ahead. The stamp set is by AALL & Create - choose happy #478. Not my usual style but I have been seeing lots of their stamp images on-line and bought just this one stamp set to 'have a go'. I raided my stash for the embellishments and coloured with my alcohol markers.

Lockdown in Greater Sydney continues.  Here is a card I made to send to my niece and her family to say I am thinking of them. I wanted a card that would put a smile on the face of my great-nephew when he opened the mail.  I also put in a couple of magazines for them all. The cute bear is from Kaszazz Spring Meadow Friends Un-cut set (6 stamps), the leaves are from Spring Meadow Sprigs Un-cut 6 set (3 stamps) and the background stamp is Floorboard Background   I have coloured with alcohol markers but any colouring medium would work.  I wanted a bright and happy images. Tomorrow, is the last Friday of term for the class I lead at a local community group.  These are the two cards the participants will be making. This card, designed by me, uses a new stamp from Kaszazz called Gum Books from the recently released Home Sweet Home collection.  The ladies (sorry, no men are in the class) will colour in using their preferred method - I have used since retired Alcohol Ink Markers.   The east coast of New South Wales, where I live on the lower edge, had constant rain over the past weekend and week, so it seemed appropriate that I feature the gum boots on this card.   This card, again created by me, uses a paper napkin/serviette applied with craft glue.  It is not a new technique.  I loved the design on the napkin immediately and I thought 'card'.   The paper napkin, that has a repeated design in each corner, has 3 plies and 2 of the plies are removed leaving the top layer for placing on the card.    Th...

People often say to me "Where do you get your inspiration?".   Here is a card I created today And here is my inspiration - yes a mug I fell in love with sometime ago.  I immediately thought of the new Kaszazz range Always and Forever.   I have also used stamps from Kaszazz Nostalgic collection that had the Paris theme. Roses have been coloured with Alcohol Ink Markers again from Kaszazz. The Eiffel Tower stamp is from Crafters Companion called Le Francais. I have been to Paris 3 times over the years and it is my sister's favourite city.   I had fun creating this card.  Hope you can see my inspiration on my card.  Thank you for looking. Margaret. 

Here is a card I have designed using all products available from Kaszazz for the class I lead at local community group. The ladies could choose what colour alcohol ink they wanted to use. The card uses stamps and papers from Distress Surfaces range, I admit I have really used this range a lot recently, not only this card but also scrapbook layouts I have previously posted. A miniature daffodil growing in my yard...after one of the hottest winter seasons on record and with most of New South Wales in drought a little bit of rain on Central Coast over the past few days. Here are some cards I designed for my classes at local community centre.  A clean and simple Christmas card that was a big hit.  Kaisercraft die in corner and Holly stamp from Kaszazz.  Greeting from my stash. Coloured with Alcohol markers. Classic car.  With the exception of the cog die all product from Kaszazz. Once again, Alcohol markers for colouring in. Inside of the card.
