Stamps Ahead

Here is a layout and card I have designed using all Kaszazz products.  Each month Kaszazz put out a challenge for all consultants to design a project using a certain criteria.  For March it is to use the 3 SB (patterned papers) from the Coastal Oasis collection. I have only used products available from Kaszazz. The stamps I have used are River Bank Un-cut set; Sea Shells; and the greeting on the card is crom Word Montage-Paradise.  I have used half a sheet of Sea Shells chipboard.  I have used Princess Gold embossing powder on the chipboard and the stamp images - don't forget that you need and embossing ink and I have used Distress Inkpad - Clear Embossing.  The chipboard has been attached with Distress Collage Medium. It is a rainy Sunday here on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. A day perfect for staying in and creating. No fishing here today! Here is a card I have made, perfect for my brother when his birthday comes around next year.  I was inspired by a card by Sona D on The Male Room blog.  I just loved her card and decided I had to make it! Yes, I have left a thank you for Sona on her blog (link above).  This is a 15cm (6") square card.  I have used various items from my stash: Kaszazz - cardstock, die greeting happy birthday, rhinestones, small background stamps and papers for small banner and light blue. Kaisercraft - fish, circle die the brown banner paper. Unknown - that piece of blue I found lingering away in my stash and it was just the right colour. How long it has been there? I don't know! This is a layout I have created for an ad-spiration challenge over at Paper Issues (Friends and Fans) facebook page. Here is the advertisement we were to be inspired by:                                                          What did I draw from this - the water view, the umbrella and on the bottom of the ad the advertising blurb.  In my photos from our cruise to New Zealand earlier this year I had this photo of a pier on the sea wall in Napier and when I was looking for photos I was drawn to the similarity of the canopy to the umbrella in the photo.   I journaled using my Dylusions Paint Pen in white - I have usually stayed clear of this pen as it can be temperamental in letting ink out of the nib - not today so pleased.
