Artist Trading Cards (ATC's)

I am leaving a jet plane-----no I am leaving on a South Pacific cruise.  It is a scrapbook cruise with Unmistakeable Creations. One of the fun things to make are ATC's to swap and here are mine

We swap ATC's with each person (it is optional to participate) however I like to give one even if a person is not participating.   We do make them at little bigger than regular ATC's so that they fit into a pocket style page.
For mine I have used the following:
  • a neutral kraft coloured cardstock. Edged with Distress Ink.
  • torn corrugated card (mine came from a cut down delivery box). Edged with Distress Ink.
  • tape I made with Distress inks and stocks (you will find this on the right-hand side of each ATC)
  • tea dyed cheesecloth (was white but I dyed in a cup with hot water and about 5 tea bags, left for a while, removed and washed, then dried.
  • 8 images from Darkroom Door Sheet (purchased at Wrapped in Paper, ACT) and 3 images that have been in my stash for ages - sorry can't remember name, maybe Precious Moments/Memories. Edged with Distress Ink.
  • Tim Holtz Label Quote Chips edge with Distress Ink
  • Gold splatters to give that extra 'zing'
  • each card has a label at the back showing my details and a number e.g. 1/11.
A few photos close up:
I did also make one for my sister as well - it features one of her favourite places and she will be visiting again later this year.  This one does not have the gold splatters - she loved it.

Thank you for looking, Bon Voyage, Margaret
Update: The cruise had a change of voyage - due to earthquake in Vila in December, 2024 and with rebuilding still underway we headed to Airlie Beach. Then a cyclone developed in South Pacific area including Noumea and Mystery Island another change needed to be made.  The captain secured a berth in Hobart, Tasmania so down south we headed!
