Tags and Tea

Back with another challenge that I completed over at Soul Scrappers, this challenge is using letters of the alphabet and a word that goes with it.  This month it is "T" and  you had to use tags and a word beginning with "T".  Also, "U" and you had to use underline and a word starting with - you guessed it "U" - I have not done that one yet.   Here is my Tags with taste and tea.
This photograph was taken at Berrima at a great little bakery called "Stones Patisserie"  if you are ever down that way, call in great food.  Here my sister and I are indulging in strawberry meringues with our cup of tea.  I have place little pearls on the layout as of course when you eat meringues you do get little pieces of meringue all over you!

January Cyberchallenge - punched flowers.

Images:(c)1990-2010 Stampin'Up(r) Artwork:Margaret L Crawford Our INKlings cyberchallenges have began for 2010. Tonight our leader, Jayne is setting the challenges. Our first challenge is to use SU punches to make a paper flower and use it on a card, scrapbook page or 3D item. I have used the round scallop punch (each flower has 3 punched scallops), cut a small way into each scallop and then pushed back to create a 3-D effect then I added a rhinestone brad to the centre of each flower. I used my markers to colour the leaves and then spritzed with water before adding to card. Challenge 1 completed.

Time stands still

Here is another layout I have created recently.  I have decided to post it for a challenge at ARTastic - I hope they allow more than one entry as I have already done one layout for their May challenge - Scrap the Girls. This photo was taken when I met up with friends that I attended TAFE with many years ago.  We completed the Advanced Needlecraft Certificate at Hornsby TAFE and became firm friends during this time.   But as life goes on we lost contact - until Facebook got us back together 20 years later!..  They caught the train up and we had lunch and much catch up at my home before a walk on the beach.   Again here is the inspiration photo at ARTastic, the criteria Girls Only. I was further inspired by a layout by Emily Pitt found on   Debbie Hodge  from 2013 that I found whilst blog surfing. Thank you Debbie I have left some thanks for you on your blog. Thank you for looking, Margaret.
