Well, here is it's January again. And that means it's my sisters birthday. If you have read my blog for a while you will recall that she likes blue, shabby chic and all things Paris. Here is the card I have created for her this year. My birthday gift to her was I paid for 5 nights accommodation in Paris during trip she took there in September last year and this card pays homage to that trip. The clock face was one she picked up in the Paris markets.

What a beautiful card - I'm sure Heather will love it. Is the background of the card embossed and then inked? I love the large pearls!
This past week I went down to 'my' beaches - Ocean Beach to Umina Beach taking my Samsung Tablet with me as I wanted to take a panorama shot. This is the view I have after I have walked just 100 steps from my front gate and up and over a small sand dune - I never tire of this view. I have used paper, stickers and die cuts from Kaisercraft Sandy Toes collection and scattered hessian twine, pearls and sparkles randomly. I love both the quotes - so I used both - I hope not too much. At the bottom (for photographic purposes only) you...
Images:(c)1990-2010 Stampin'Up(r) Artwork:Margaret L Crawford Our INKlings cyberchallenges have began for 2010. Tonight our leader, Jayne is setting the challenges. Our first challenge is to use SU punches to make a paper flower and use it on a card, scrapbook page or 3D item. I have used the round scallop punch (each flower has 3 punched scallops), cut a small way into each scallop and then pushed back to create a 3-D effect then I added a rhinestone brad to the centre of each flower. I used my markers to colour the leaves and then spritzed with water before adding to card. Challenge 1 completed.
