Down into Devil's Ice Box I went -> -> ->

I decided to do a companion page for my layout yesterday.   I used a sketch from The Memory Nest Make it Monday No 26.  I have used all Stampin'Up! (r) product on the page with the exception of alphas.   The final photo on the page is not me raising my hands in joy - I am actually touching the rock ledge above my head.  I inked the edges to try and give the impression of being in the cave....

New sketch challenge for October. Hope you will play along!!
Here are the two layouts together. I have kept continuity with the colours, papers, sponging and stamps I have used.   The cut-off from the scallop punch I used to draw the eye down the second layout.
It is a beautiful day here on The Central Coast, I have been for my beach walk and a cup of tea and banana bread afterward at beach café, washing is all done and in the sun and I am inspired to do more scrapping today.   Thanks for looking,  Margaret

January Cyberchallenge - punched flowers.

Images:(c)1990-2010 Stampin'Up(r) Artwork:Margaret L Crawford Our INKlings cyberchallenges have began for 2010. Tonight our leader, Jayne is setting the challenges. Our first challenge is to use SU punches to make a paper flower and use it on a card, scrapbook page or 3D item. I have used the round scallop punch (each flower has 3 punched scallops), cut a small way into each scallop and then pushed back to create a 3-D effect then I added a rhinestone brad to the centre of each flower. I used my markers to colour the leaves and then spritzed with water before adding to card. Challenge 1 completed.

Time stands still

Here is another layout I have created recently.  I have decided to post it for a challenge at ARTastic - I hope they allow more than one entry as I have already done one layout for their May challenge - Scrap the Girls. This photo was taken when I met up with friends that I attended TAFE with many years ago.  We completed the Advanced Needlecraft Certificate at Hornsby TAFE and became firm friends during this time.   But as life goes on we lost contact - until Facebook got us back together 20 years later!..  They caught the train up and we had lunch and much catch up at my home before a walk on the beach.   Again here is the inspiration photo at ARTastic, the criteria Girls Only. I was further inspired by a layout by Emily Pitt found on   Debbie Hodge  from 2013 that I found whilst blog surfing. Thank you Debbie I have left some thanks for you on your blog. Thank you for looking, Margaret.
