Happy Birthday Heather

Image
Images: (c) 1990-2009 Stampin'Up (r) Artwork: Margaret L Crawford It is my sisters birthday today and instead of creating a card I decided to make her a 15cm x 15cm scrapbook page in her favourite colour blue. The idea is that she can put a photograph taken today on the page. On the back of the page I have made a pocket (that I put a little something in) but she can use this later to put in more photographs or memorabillia from today. Happy Birthday.

A night out in Sydney

Last night, my sister and I went for dinner at The Summit Restuarant, above the City of Sydney. As part of the Sydney Festival there are 30 old pianos spread across the city and we chanced upon one in Australia Square. Who cannot love Sydney with views like these?

Images: (c) 1990-2009 Stampin'Up! (r) Artwork: Margaret L Crawford I have arrived back in Australia after nearly 12 months in China. One of the first things I did was pick up my Secret Santa gift - I know a little delayed but great to get at any time. My thanks to my Secret Santa (aka Michelle D) I love it all. Now to create - I have many photo's that need scrapbooking and many new stamps to play with over the next few weeks. So keep watching this site.............

Easy peasy Scrapbook page.

Jayne, my very talented and generous SU upline has set herself a challenge to do more scrapbooking this year. Jayne here is my version of one of your pages. It is a 6" x 6" page, no stamping and it is another quick and easy page to complete. It would have been quicker if I had a punch with me. This was my mammoth walk to Moon Hill, Yangshou in November, you can see Moon Hill top right square. Reminder - was 800 steep steps up and 800 steep steps down!!!. Images: (c) 19990-2009 Stampin' Up! Cold weather stamping in Xiangtan

Image
It has been cold here, and apart from the occasional trip into the city to get supplies and going to class today (Sunday I know) twice only to find no students (aaah!!!) I have stayed in the warmth of my bedroom. The last two days I have done some stamping - here is a card and a scrapbook page I have made. The photograph of me with the fresh flowers, on my head, was taken in Yangshou, the ladies make these and sell them for 2RMB each. I bought 2 and together with the students we had a fun time, posing and taking photographs of ourselves. Images: (C) 1990-2009 Stampin'Up! (R) Artwork: Margaret L Crawford
