Tauranga, NewZealand

Image
Playing along with a challenge at  paperissues.com   Head over there and see their challenges each month. The challenge you ask? It is called "What's going down?"  Stay clear of top and middle section of your layout and focus attention on the bottom of your layout. The photograph of me was taken in Tauranga in New Zealand in January this year. I have used Distress Oxide inks to replicate the background of photo and a Kaszazz stamp called Hand Drawn Diamonds.  I then decided to Zentangle those little diamonds. A bit of lace, Happy Days stamp and random dotting with my pen complete the layout. All products available from Kaszazz...email me if interested in purchasing. Thank you for looking, Margaret  ðŸ˜€ðŸ˜€ðŸ˜€

Contact me if you want to order. The stamps are Serendipity Background and Dragonfly Sun Catchers. And of course there are the wonderful Bronze Liquid Pearls, Stickles Star Dust and Distress Ink Vintage Photo. Thank you for looking, Margaret

Happy cards

I returned from overseas yesterday, the flight had severe turbulence coming into Sydney. How severe I here you say!  Lightning hit the plane, big bang and bright light...white knuckle time...all okay and another travel story for years to come. This Friday back to teaching cards at a local community group. Here is one card I designed: This card uses Tim Holtz Distress Crayons swept lightly across his watercolour paper, then baby wipe or similar swiped in one direction down the paper.  The stamps (except greeting) are also from Ranger. What was not evident in top photo was the Fun Stampers Journey Silk spashed onto the card front. Whilst overseas I was asked by my friend to lead a card class for her friends....this is one of the cards I designed for them, it is a smaller panel on a coloured card, and uses stamps from her stash. This provided the inspiration for the card for this weeks class. Thank you for looking, Margaret

Another layout created whilst on holidays. Photo to be added later where postcard is. This layout uses My Mind's Eye range called Wander by jen allyson.  Paper Issues currently has a challenge called "Put it on an Angle" and this was my interpretation of the challenge. Thank you for looking, Cheers Margaret

Today a layout celebrating the High School graduation of a friend's son in USA. This was his invitation, unfortunately I was not able to go due to travelling commitments. The background papers are from a Tim Holtz range and I selected them as they reflect Cole's love of nature.  He is one awesome dude that I have had the pleasure of knowing for many years. Every good wish for your future...I will follow with interest wherever it leads you. Cheers Margaret
